Tourenbeschreibung
Finaly a short tour at home. According to the weather forecast, Jalovcev ozebnik (couloir) was a good choice. It never has sun anyway. Prking in Planica valey was full of workers. They are getting it ready for Final Ski Flying 2015 nex weekend. In the morning there was even some sun above Jalovec, but soon drowned in clouds. Icy frozen road to Tamar and a snowy path through the forest. Lots of ski tourers ahead, but mostly rather slow. Most of them turned to Kotovo sedlo. Snow was hard but not frozen. Under the couloir I put skis on my rucksack and crampones on my shoes. Exit was totaly cloudy, there were two Croatians (friends of Anita from Sonnblick) and a Slovenian guy. Skiing down was great. No ice on the entrance, no stones in the channel. Only hard griffig snow. After couloir I have decided to go and check conditions on Kotovo sedlo. Well, it would be better not to. The terain was exposed to the sun in the last days, but yesterday it remained cloudy and frozen. Skiing was a mixture of all difficult snow types. But only until I reached couloirs line. Down to the valey pure joy again.
